Worker Training Resources
Resources are available in Columbus, Georgia and the Chattahoochee Valley to assist spouses and family members with skills training, employment assistance and career direction.
CAREER ADVANCEMENT INITIATIVE
Career Advancement Accounts are available to qualifying spouses of active duty military personnel at Fort Benning. Recipients may receive up to $6,000 over a two-year period for postsecondary education at select community and technical colleges in the Chattahoochee Valley for specified programs of study. Grants may also be used for training that will lead to state-approved credentialing, such as a certificate from a continuing education program or private service provider.
